Aliza Vayngurt

Executive Director

Aliza Vayngurt is a behavioral health leader with over eight years of experience in the substance use disorder and mental health field. She specializes in regulatory compliance, including The Joint Commission (TJC), California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and CARF standards, while overseeing medical, clinical, and operational departments to ensure high-quality, ethical care.
After earning her degree in Political Science from the University of San Francisco, Aliza’s personal recovery journey led her to pursue a career in behavioral health. She began as a substance abuse technician and advanced through case management into leadership, where she developed a strong focus on compliance and operations. Over the past five years, she has served as both Executive Director and Compliance Officer, guiding programs with a focus on structure, accountability, and excellence in care.
Aliza joined the Glö Behavioral Health team at its inception, supporting initial licensing efforts and helping build the foundation of a premier wraparound program. She is dedicated to delivering the highest level of client care and empowering individuals to achieve lasting recovery.

Megan Stillwell

Founder / ceo

Megan is a dedicated behavioral health professional with nearly a decade of experience in addiction and mental health treatment. Throughout her career, she has held several leadership roles, including Director of Operations, Program Director and Admissions Director, giving her extensive experience in both client care and program development.
Megan has worked alongside CARF and Joint Commission (JCAHO) accredited facilities, where she helped ensure operational excellence and compliance with the highest standards of care. Her passion has always centered around creating safe, supportive, and effective environments where individuals can begin rebuilding their lives.
In 2021, Megan graduated from the LA Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling, a CCAPP-approved program. In addition to her professional background, Megan also brings nearly a decade of personal recovery experience, allowing her to connect with clients with compassion, authenticity, and understanding.
Through both her personal and professional journey, Megan has developed a strong belief that integrity, accountability, connection, and service to others are foundational elements in long-term recovery and lasting change.
Megan is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the recovery process with dignity, hope, and support. Her goal is to ensure that every client feels seen, valued, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
Outside of her work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their two dogs. She also enjoys staying active and traveling to country music concerts across the country.

Katelin Murray

Founder / director of business development

Katelin Murray is the Co-Founder of Glö Behavioral Health and a leader in the recovery and behavioral health space. With over six years of experience in the recovery field, she has built a reputation for creating safe, structured, and deeply supportive environments that foster lasting change.
Her work is rooted in a whole-person philosophy — integrating evidence-based clinical care with holistic modalities that support nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and sustainable long-term recovery. She is passionate about addressing the underlying drivers of substance use and mental health challenges, including trauma, attachment wounds, grief, and disconnection.
At Glö, Katelin leads business development, community partnerships, and client experience, helping shape a program where individuals feel both clinically supported and genuinely cared for. Her vision is to redefine treatment by creating an environment that feels elevated, calming, and deeply human — where healing is not only possible, but sustainable.

Dr. Eric Chaghouri

medical director

Dr. Eric Chaghouri is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. He earned his B.A. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles with summa cum laude honors, where he was also named UCLA Scholar-Athlete of the Year and contributed to a national championship men’s volleyball team.
He received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed his psychiatry residency at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in Psychiatric Emergency Services. He also held roles as a Resident Clinical Instructor and Volunteer Faculty member at USC.
Dr. Chaghouri completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the USC Institute of Psychiatry and Law, contributing to academic research and presentations in the field.
He now leads a thriving Southern California practice focused on evidence-based, integrative treatment for psychiatric and addictive disorders, including advanced interventional approaches. In addition to clinical work, he consults with attorneys, courts, and media organizations on complex psychiatric matters.
His areas of expertise include addiction medicine, forensic psychiatry, medical ethics, and the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Sharon Holliday

clinical director / MSW / SUDCC IV-CS

Sharon is an experienced leader in addiction and mental health care with over two decades of experience spanning adolescents to adults. She has worked across residential settings and intensive outpatient programs and has served as a director for more than 20 years, guiding teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care. Sharon is passionate about helping individuals gain perspective on their addiction and mental health, empowering them to build healthier, more fulfilling lives. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and is certified by the State of California in the Addiction Field and to clinically supervise others, which reflects her commitment to high-quality clinical leadership. Her clinical toolkit includes training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, enabling a holistic approach to treatment and recovery. Sharon brings a collaborative, strengths-based perspective to her work, partnering with clients and colleagues to foster growth, resilience, and lasting change.

Carolyn Daw

Carolyn Daw is a dedicated behavioral healthcare professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through complex healthcare and recovery journeys. Throughout her career, Carolyn has built a reputation for her unwavering commitment to client care, ethical practices, and creating safe, supportive environments where individuals can thrive.
Prior to entering the recovery and behavioral health field, Carolyn spent over a decade working with Cigna Healthcare, where she gained extensive experience navigating healthcare systems, advocating for members, and helping individuals access the services and resources necessary to improve their quality of life. This foundation provided her with a deep understanding of healthcare operations, client advocacy, and the importance of compassionate, person-centered care.
For the past five years, Carolyn has served as Operations Director for multiple sober living communities, overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring the highest standards of accountability, safety, and resident support. Her leadership style is grounded in integrity, transparency, and a genuine passion for helping individuals build stable, fulfilling lives in recovery. She works closely with residents, families, treatment providers, and community partners to foster environments that promote personal growth, responsibility, and long-term success.
Carolyn is deeply committed to maintaining honest and ethical business practices while prioritizing the well-being of every individual entrusted to her care. She believes that meaningful recovery begins with trust, consistency, and compassionate support, and she remains dedicated to helping clients and families navigate the recovery process with dignity, respect, and hope.

Jaren Miller

Admissions Director

Jaren is a dedicated behavioral health professional with nearly a decade of experience in addiction and mental health treatment. Over the years, he has worked in several areas within the treatment field, ultimately stepping into the role of Admissions Director, where he developed a strong passion for helping individuals and families navigate the path toward recovery with compassion, understanding, and support.
Through his experience working closely with clients, loved ones, and treatment professionals, Jaren understands how overwhelming the process of seeking help can feel. He believes that creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment is one of the most important parts of helping someone take those first steps toward lasting change.
Jaren is passionate about building genuine connections and believes that trust, empathy, integrity, and accountability are foundational to meaningful recovery. His approach is centered around making every individual feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their healing journey.
Outside of work, Jaren enjoys spending time with his partner and two daughters, as well as playing and collecting trading cards.

Beth Braunstein

CDAD-1 / Grief & Loss Specialist

Beth Braunstein is a substance abuse counselor and group facilitator with extensive experience supporting individuals through recovery, grief, and personal transformation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University and earned her Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling Certificate through UCLA. Beth is certified as a CADC-I counselor.
Since 2022, Beth has worked as a Case Manager, where she facilitates psychoeducational groups in an outpatient substance abuse treatment setting. She leads structured recovery groups, provides individualized client support, and creates a safe, respectful environment where individuals can openly explore the challenges of addiction and healing.
She has also facilitated long-term grief support groups for adults and specialized groups for parents grieving the loss of a child. Her work focused on fostering connection, emotional safety, and community-based healing.
Beth’s professional strengths include group facilitation, substance abuse recovery support, grief and bereavement counseling, psychoeducational program development, and client-centered care. She is known for her compassionate, empathetic approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to helping individuals build resilience and lasting recovery.
